Sony Ericsson gets web friendly

New K series cell set to make surfing on the go faster than Ben Johnson on 'roids.

Sony Ericsson has busted out their all new K660, pointed straight at web-loving on the go types.

The phone's big selling point is all that HSDPA under the hood. So what, you're saying? Well here it's all about how you surf the web, not just what you use to do it.

They're calling it 'web-optimised', we call it common sense. An in-built accelerometer lets you switch to landscape browsing and there are tons of shortcut keys to make your Facebook or MySpace tinkering even easier.

This means you can pan and zoom, navigate with the central key, just as you would with a mouse, bookmark pages with one touch and enter addresses at the touch of a button.

There's the ever-reliable Google Maps on board and a standard 2-meg peeper for taking snaps in case all that browsing gets too much.

Not content with this piece of mobile mastery, the Big S has also dropped tow new Walkman blowers, the W380 and W960, the latter with room for a whacking 8,000 tunes.

You can check out pics of the lot in our gallery below. Stay tuned, our K660 is on its way and we'll have video for you before you know it.
