Nokia E65: Now comes with WiFi

Nokia has rebranded the ever popular 6280 sliding real estate and added 802.11b WiFi connectivity.

I’ve always wondered how much it would cost a company to add additional features to phones. I remember writing before about how adding a Bluetooth module on a phone would cost roughly an additional one dollar. Can the same be said with WiFi? I guess so. With the way they mass produce these things, as well as with the way tech is getting more affordable, it does make sense to just include every possible feature conceived by man into mobile phones.

Ah. But that would kill the business model wouldn’t it? The E65 hinges on one of the better designed models of Nokia. “let’s turn this thing into a business phone” they said, by adding the “E” and wireless Internet.
